Rich is a native Floridian, born and raised in Boynton Beach. Rich has always enjoyed working hands-on. He is a self-taught mechanic, carpenter, welder, fabricator, plumber, and much more. The multitude of trades and skills that he possesses allows him the ability to create the best custom designed smokers, outdoor kitchens, and grills.  

Prior to establishing Custom Outdoor Cookers Rich was in facilities management where he managed construction buildouts, design projects and repairs. Rich has also done several builds of custom boats and high-performance vehicles, some up to 700+ hp with builds ranging from twin turbo, single turbo, and nitrous customizations.
